DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES :

The following BC Development activities are taken up for the Development of Backward Classes in Siddipet District.

  1. Govt BC Hostels:

Hostels: In Siddipet District, ( 22 ) Pre – Matric and ( 08 ) Post – Matric Hostels are functioning. The details are as follows:

Material Supply ( 210 – 211 )

 

Bio – Metric Missions, Computers, Printers, Scanners, Study Materials, Sports Materials have been provided to all Hostels in the District.

 

 

  • Cosmetic Charges: The following amount will be paid to the boarders every month in cash for purchase of Soaps, Oil, Brush and Paste, for Sanitary napkins for Girls etc.,
  • For Boys:    50/- P.M per boarder

                                Rs.12/- P.M for Hair Cutting Charges.

  • For Girls:   III to VII Class  – 55/- P.M. per boarder

                              VIII to X class   – Rs.75/- P.M per boarder

  • DIET Charges to Pre – Matric & Post – Matric Hostel Boarders:
  • Pre-matric:  III to VII Classes  –  @ Rs.950 P.M / Per Boarder

                                VIII to X Classes    –  @ Rs.1100 P.M / Per Boarder

  • Post-matric:

            @ Rs.1500/-   Per month / Per Boarder

  1. Scholarships & Fee Reimbursement for 2017-18 :

The Scholarship will be sanctioned all those B.C students who pursue their studies in Govt. / Aided / Private Colleges which offer courses such as Intermediate, I.T.I, Polytechnic, Degree, Diet, B.Ed, MBBS, B.Tech and P.G Courses of professional and also M.Phil and Ph.D etc., The portal http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in is opened for registrations.

  1. INCENTIVE INTERCASTE MARRIGAGE COUPLES:

Under this scheme, Rs.10,000/- will be sanctioned towards Incentive Cash Award for having performed Inter caste Marriage either the spouse belongs to BC. This Incentive will also given where both of them belongs to BC Community with different the sub-caste of the spouse. For the financial year 2016-17, the Commissioner of BC Welfare, Telangana, Hyderabad has released an amount of Rs.70,000 Out of the said amount released an amount of Rs.70,000 has been spent for (07) Inter caste married couples and issue D.D to The Chief Executive Officer (ZP), Sangareddy.

  1. MAHATHMA JYOTHIBA PHULE B.C OVERSEAS VIDHYA NIDHI:

The Govt. have introduce an new scheme in the name of Mahatm Hyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidhya Nidhi vide G.O.Ms.No. 23, BCW (B) Dept, Dated:10-10-2016 to provide financial assistance of Rs. 20.00 lakhs for BC eligible graduates to pursuing Post Graduate studies aboard  ( USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore ) for the year 2016-2017. In this District we have received 6 applications and we conducted field verification and submitted for sanction, out of (6) (1) application has been sanctioned and bill has been submitted at treasury for passing.  For the financial year 2017-18 (2) applications received, and conducted field verification and submitted for sanction.

  1. STUDY CIRCLE:

The BC Study Circle Siddipet established on 05/09/2015, the course offered and details of coaching offered and details of coaching given to the B.C Students in BC Study Circle Siddipet. Coaching details as follows.

  1. C Residential Schools:

Six Residential Schools and 3 Colleges are functioning in the District with 2788 strength 4 for Boys and 5 for Girls.

 SSC Results:

During the current year 2016-17, ( 265 ) Students have appeared for SSC examinations and 244 have passed registering 92.1%   in the Dist.

  1. Self Employment Schemes 2015-16:

Implementation of Self Employment Scheme under Margin Money providing subsidy with bank – tie up in rural areas and Savithri Bai Phule Abhyudaya Yojana Scheme providing subsidy with bank – tie up in urban areas. The details are as follows.

11 . Dhobighats:

            25 Dhobighats has been sanctioned with cost of 86.37 lakhs. (11) Dhobighats completed remaining (14) are in progress. Recently state government has sanctioned mechanized laundry unit with cost of 35.50 lakhs on pilot basis to Erra Cheruvu in Siddipet town. 

12 . Gudumba Rehabilitation:

            The Government has released an amount of Rs.188 lakhs for (94) beneficiaries. We have sanctioned and grounded for (90) beneficiaries with cost of 180 lakhs.
