(Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad :: Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department)

Office of the Superintendent, District Headquarters Hospital, Siddipet District, functions under the administrative control of Commissioner, Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad. Under its administrative control the following Hospitals are working in Siddipet District:

• Area Hospital, Gajwel
• Community Health Centre, Dubbak
• Community Health Centre, Cherial

Departmental Activities:

1. Provide Medical and Health services to the patients visiting the TVVP hospitals in Siddipet District in the specialities of General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and other available specialities in the Hospitals.
2. In these hospitals, the following schemes are taken up:

• Under State Government:
• KCR Kits are distributed to the Patients after delivery in the Govt.Hospital.
• Payment of an incentive of Rs.12,000/- (for male baby) & Rs.13,000/- (for female baby) in a phased manner, to the Pregnant Women who visit Government Hospitals for deliveries.
• Under Central Government (National Health Mission):
• JSSK (Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakaram)
• JSY (Janani Suraksha Yojana)
• NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) Clinics

3. In Area Hospital, Gajwel, besides above, the following additional facilities are also functioning:

• Dialysis Centre with 5 beds.
• Blood Storage Centre.
• Palliative Care Ward (under NHM).

4. The Arogyasri cases are taken up in Area Hospital, Gajwel and Community Health Centre, Dubbak.
